Motivation Monday Say Boo Scare On

Happy Fall Everyone!

Today we are taking a bit of a side trip with a fun  "Keep Calm" Halloween theme.  What is cuter than "Say Boo and Scare On"? I cannot think of anything, at least not today... lol

This will be a gift for my friend who LOVES, wait, she REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Halloween and everything to do with it. She starts decorating for Halloween as early as she can - this year she started the last weekend in August...

So, for each of you Halloween lovers and our friends who love Halloween.... this is for you....

Take a look farther down and you will see there are two versions I created. The one I have framed has a group of ghosts, something about them that makes me smile. The second has an adorably sweet ghost hanging out.

I would love to hear about your Halloween crazed inspired friends and if you've gotten the jump on Halloween yet?

Click here for my Freebie Friday where I have shared this printable with you so that you too can create one.  Too cute....

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Freebie Friday Thankful for Every Moment

It is Freebie Friday - my favorite day of the week!!! Welcome! I am very pleased to see you  stopped by today! This is the quote that I am sharing with you today, I hope you like it and it inspires you in some way.

I love the thought behind this quote and thought that it would be great to be able to use it on cards or even print some out to keep in my purse to inspire me.... In fact, that isn't a bad idea to laminate them and keep them in there so when I am having a bad day I can pull them out and remember everything is transitional and this too shall pass!  This is the framed version that I shared on Motivational Monday

Throwback Thursday #tbt

Throwback Thursday - Quilling Pattern and Instructions

I thought it would be fun to participate in this new Throwback Thursday hosted by Stamping with Bibiana.

I have decided to go way, way,way back to June of 2006 (is that for real?) to a post where I shared a traditional quilling project with basic shapes that is perfect for the beginner  and the advanced quiller alike.  I make flowers like this all the time, it is fun to play with different color combinations.  Click here to be transported back to my original post and learn how to make these beautiful flowers.  It is funny to see what I considered a quilling pattern and instructions in the beginning and what I do now.

I think that going back in time and sharing these crafts will be lots and lots of fun! Cannot wait for next week!!! big smiles!!! It would be lots of fun if you joined in also.

Motivation Monday Thankful for Every Moment

Happy Fall! The weather is getting a bit cooler here and some of the trees started changing into their fall colors. I do love fall!

(sorry for the mixup, this was meant to be posted on Monday (yeah, you guessed that from the post title)... my fault, in order to schedule it, you have to "publish it" - sheepish grin)

I created this in two different colors, I chose the turquoise blue for myself because I love that color, and I like the way it pops off the brown, don't you? I recently made a quilled wedding invitation using browns and blues and that is what inspired these colors (I will share a picture of that project with you over the next few weeks).

The quote reads:
Thankful for every single moment that has passed and those yet to come!

So, after a long hiatus I return with this quote that I love. I framed it and it is now sitting on my mantle that is screaming for more fall and Halloween items... What does your mantle look like these days? Are you super on top of things and are already setup like my friend who started in August? Or are you like me, a bit overwhelmed with the new school year and thinking, hmmmm, I really need to do something about that? I'd love to hear your mantle story!
